speaking & storytelling. With friend and colleague Terri Tate, Jo Anne leads personal storytelling workshops and classes. An accomplished storyteller, she performs individually and with the Circle of Women, and has been the featured storyteller at the Second Sunday Story Swap in Tiburon, CA. She presents for such groups as Chambers of Commerce and organizations for women about public presence and the power of story. For the past ten years she has coached individuals and facilitated groups in a wide variety of settings including living rooms, non-profits, Silicon Valley and San Quentin.

of all sizes for more than thirty years, and spent five years
as associate producer on award-winning educational
videos and multimedia. She produces and directs storytelling showcases,
solo performances, seminars and other events, such as inspirational humorist Terri
Tate's acclaimed one-woman show, Shopping as a Spiritual
Path, and David Roche and
Marlena Blavin's storytelling CD, War of the
Wills and other stories about family. Until recently she also served as Creative Projects Consultant for Speaking Circles International. In that capacity, her projects included co-producing a documentary
on the theme of women claiming their voices.
editing. Jo Anne has freelanced for a major textbook publisher for fifteen years. For individual clients and organizations, she edits written materials — books, websites, articles, newsletters, artist statements and stories — for language, clarity, flow and impact. She had the pleasure of editing and designing Oz Power: How to click your heels and take charge of your life and The Oz Power Companion by Bill Bauman, Ph.D.
brand and website development. Jo Anne and her colleague Evangeline Welch provide brand clarification, copy writing and editing, and art direction for websites such as the Cohousing Association of the United States, Enneagram Worldwide, the Association of Enneagram Teachers in the Narrative Tradition, inspirational humorist David Roche and life-altering illness coach Lynn Rogers, PhD.

grief counselor, suicide prevention hotline counselor, bereavement
support group leader and meditation teacher, Jo Anne has the ability to create
a safe and creative context for exploration, expansion and transformation. She is certified as a trainer/mentor by the Center for Soulful Living.
